As our many donors and corporate sponsors support our work, we endeavor to support local causes and other nonprofit organizations too. While we generally can't donate cash, we often can help with complementary show tickets for raffle prizes, auction items, etc. Please feel welcome to submit a request by emailing director@theMiddleNH.org. Be sure to note the charity or organization to benefit, the date and other details about the event, and any other relevant information about the fundraiser. Jule C. Finley Scholarship Middle New Hampshire Arts & Entertainment Center is proud to honor Jule Finley, and support local students in pursuit of higher education. The Jule C. Finley Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving student from Franklin, or a neighboring community, who has been actively involved in local theatre or other performing arts, and has shown a willingness to share their time, talents and energy for the benefit of their community.
The award is named for Jule C. Finley, an English teacher and drama program director at Franklin High School, founder, past president, and principal director of Franklin Footlight Theatre, and an energetic and passionate member of our community, whose inspiration and efforts in bringing drama and theatre back to Franklin have resulted in the establishment of Franklin Footlight Theatre and the rebirth of the Franklin Opera House.
If you'd like to express your recognition of Jule's achievements by writing a check to benefit the scholarship fund, know that it would be appreciated by Jule, and the students she serves. Checks may be mailed to Middle New Hampshire Arts & Entertainment Center at P.O. Box 172, Franklin, NH 03235. Please note on the memo line that the gift is for the Jule Finley Scholarship Award. All donations are taxdeductible to the full extent of the law.
