Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy tickets?
We encourage buying tickets on-line for the easiest and most convenient method. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Franklin Opera House office in the basement at the rear of city hall, or tickets can be purchased by phone by calling 934-1901. The office is generally open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and an hour before each show.

What fees are there associated with ticket buying?
For all tickets, there is a $1.50 per ticket fee. This fee covers the cost charged by our ticket vendor. For orders made in person or by phone, there is a $2 order fee (for the whole order, regardless of how many tickets); this fee is waived for online orders. A 3% credit card fee applies for purchases made by credit card.

Why are tickets priced higher for at-the-door purchases?
Tickets are generally priced modestly higher for at-the-door ticket sales to encourage pre-sales of tickets. This reduces lobby congestion; it enables our House staff to be more prepared for the audience we'll have; and it helps to assure the best possible level of hospitality for our patrons.

How can my business become sponsor?
We welcome the partnership of area businesses, both as sponsors, and for other forms of collaboration. Please email the Executive Director or call 934-1901 to discuss.
